Synopsis:
The second of two parts that make up the cinematic version of Alexandre Dumas’s book. In front of D’Artagnan, Constance is abducted. The youthful musketeer is compelled to team up with the enigmatic Milady de Winter in an attempt to save her. All previous alliances are destroyed by a horrific secret from the past, even though Athos, Porthos, and Aramis have already joined the front when war is proclaimed. D’Artagnan and the Musketeers are the final holdouts before anarchy when the King eventually succumbs to Cardinal Richelieu’s rule. However, fate forces them to make the awful decision of whether to sacrifice the people they love in order to fulfill their purpose after drawing them into a scheme that threatens to bring fire and sword to the nation.
