Synopsis:

Ryota Miyagi, the point guard for Shohoku, is known as the team’s “speedster” and is known for his quick thinking and lightning quick play. Ryota, who is in his second year of high school, participates on the basketball team for Shohoku High School that competes in the Inter-High School National Championship alongside Sakuragi, Rukawa, Akagi, and Mitsui. The current champions, Sannoh Kogyo High School, are about to face a challenge from them.
