Two of Santa’s elves, Chuck and Debbie, come up with a scheme to give one individual on Earth three wishes in order to kick off the holidays in a world where Santa is real and wants to spread some Christmas cheer. Sadly, Erin is that human, and she no longer feels any sentimentality for the season. She isn’t going to alter her mind about Christmas, not even after her sister sets her up on a blind date with the handsome and amiable Sam. Erin, however, wakes up to a world where Christmas has never happened after making the mistake of thinking the holiday would “just disappear.” She recruits Sam to assist her in starting over the celebrations from scratch after realizing, horrified, that she has stolen everyone’s happiness. Erin discovers, in the process, how much Sam has grown to mean to her and how much this holiday and its customs have meant to everyone around her.
