Noryang: Deadly Sea

Synopsis:

December of 1598 marks the seventh year of the Imjin War. Admiral Yi Sun-shin finds out that the Wa invaders in Joseon are getting ready to leave quickly after their leader Toyotomi Hideyoshi gave them the order on his deathbed. Admiral Yi leads an allied fleet of Joseon and Ming ships to establish a blockade and destroy the Wa army in an effort to finally vanquish the enemy. Noryang Strait is where Wa lord Shimazu Yoshihiro and his Satsuma army come to the Wa army’s aid, but, after Ming commander Chen Lin is bought into releasing the barrier.
