Synopsis:

Based on a book of the same name and real-life occurrences. Bob Hightower, a vice investigator, discovers his ex-wife dead and a cult has taken his daughter. He leaves the police after becoming disenchanted with the shoddy official investigations and joins the cult, where he recruits Case Hardin, the lone female victim who managed to escape, to assist him track down the leader.
