A Thousand and One

Synopsis:

Inez is hopping from shelter to shelter in mid-’90s New York City, struggling but unashamedly life on her own terms. She kidnaps her 6-year-old son Terry so they can have a family since she is unwilling to leave him ever again. The family expands through the years, and Terry develops into a bright but reserved adolescent, but the house they have so improbably created is in danger of being destroyed by the secret that has defined their life.
